Common questions
Should I pay someone to build my website, or just do it myself?
You can build one yourself with AI now, and plenty of people do. What eats the time is everything after the building: making it load fast, making it read right on a phone, and setting it up so Google and ChatGPT can tell what you do and where you are. That is the part I charge for. $1,500, and it is live in about two days instead of sitting half finished for six months.
How much does a website cost for a small business?
Mine is $1,500 flat and that is the whole build. Most shops around here will not tell you a number until you have sat through a meeting. Ask whoever you call for the price first.
Do you have to pay for a website monthly?
Not with me. The $1,500 is a one time payment and the site is yours. The monthly plan is a separate thing you can say no to. If you take it and later cancel, the site does not go dark and it does not come back to me. It was never mine.
I get all my work from word of mouth. Do I really need a website?
Word of mouth is the best thing you have and this does not replace it. But when somebody tells their neighbor about you, the neighbor looks you up before they call. What comes up is either you or it is nothing. That is the whole job of this site: making the recommendation feel safe enough to pick up the phone.
How can my site be ready in about 2 days?
Because it is the one thing I do all day. You send your info, I build it, you look at it live and tell me what to change. There is no six week timeline because there is nobody to hand it between.
Why is my business not showing up on Google after verification?
Verification only tells Google you are real. It does not tell it what you do or who to show you to. Usually the profile is verified but thin, or the profile and the website do not agree with each other, or the site is built in a way Google cannot read. When I build the site I make the two match.
Do I really own the website?
Yes. Every file, every page and every word is yours from day one. If you ever walk away, you take it all with you. Nothing is locked up.
What if I do not have a logo or photos?
That is fine. I work with what you have and put clean stock images where there is a gap. If you want a simple logo, say so and we will sort it out.
Who is this not for?
If you need a big custom app, complicated integrations, or a store with thousands of products, I am not your best option. This is for a local business that needs a clean site people can find and call.
Who is actually building it?
Me. You work with me directly, not with an account manager. I have help in Medellin for parts of the build, but I am the one you talk to. I have loved technology my whole life and I have always started at the bottom of wherever I landed: intern to director of IT in Australia in two years, chat support to director of product and IT back in Colombia in one. The thing that got me moved up was never the technical part, it was being someone people could actually talk to, which is not that common in IT. I live in Nashville and I work in English and Spanish.
